Hello World !
I started my career in my early 20’s in a very dynamic, challenging environment in a male dominated industry. Throughout the years, many of my friends, colleagues and acquaintances, from different age groups, gender and nationalities have been encouraging me to share my experiences. In the past year, I began flirting with the idea of writing a blog. I wanted to share not only my experiences but also other issues that have been of interest to me: fashion, style, politics, business, travel, spirituality, and last but not least female empowerment. The words of a writer and a former tutor from a creative writing class I attended in Oxford years ago echoed in my head:
There is no writers block.
You are enough.
Your story is unique.
I became familiar with licensing and creative commons for content sharing, sponsored and affiliate content to name but a few. It emphasized the very important aspects of Ethics and Legality and I learned more about the use of imaging and content. Most importantly, it made me realize that the medium of communication via this vast space we call the NET brings with it a responsibility in the realization that words do count. For me this responsibility means taking the time to produce quality, honest, yet enjoyable and engaging content.
